HORROR VILLAIN TOURNEY 2024, ROUND ONE MATCH FIFTEEN: The Smile Entity (Smile 2) vs. Muzan Kibutsuji (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba)

So yeah we went to see the new Horror movie Smile 2. I was excited and interested in this one being that I loved the first one. So I wanted to go and see it and I can say that this one didn't disappoint I thought it was great!

Now I don't want to get into too much detail I don't want to ruin any of it because you'll want to go in to it and experience it on you own.

but this time the I don't know what to call it the "Evil" the "Smile" lets just go with the the "Smile" being it is the movies title. but anyway the Smile continues to spread and it ends up infecting Skye Riley (played by Naomi Scott) who is a singer/pop star who has been out of the spotlight for a while after surviving a horrific car crash that seriously injured her and killed her movie star boyfriend. In this stage in her life where we meet her she is currently getting ready for a type of comeback tour when she gets infected by the Smile. She gets infected after visiting a friend who was recently infected after he got it being in the wrong place at the wrong time and she witness his death which of course passes the Smile on to her. and then for pretty much the rest of the movie you just watch her go completely crazy!

Now like I said the movie is great it is a bit terrifying and and creepy AF! it can be a bit disturbing at times too like the scene at the autograph signing where Skye Riley meets the obsessed creepy superfan guy that is kinda scary and then later you see his shit stained underwear I was like "eww thats gross" some of the kills are kinda crazy but the effect is really good.

One thing about this movie was the acting Naomi Scott was amazing in this! she was completely amazing! this was her movie and she owned it every minute she was on screen. Just watching her go slowly insane was something in itself to see I feel that she put everything she could into this role which was awesome I feel her performance in this should push her higher in the Hollywood rankings.

but yeah like I said I thought this was great. where I do love the first one which they do mention the events of that one briefly in this I do thing this one is better probably because it gives you more of what made the first one so good.

So yeah I would highly recommend seeing it if you enjoyed the original movie then I think you will enjoy this one too.
